Oldboy
I knew the ending/twist so it wasn’t a true first experience. But I wish so much that I didn’t. Even knowing it was so good and hit so hard. Just so so good.

Lady Vengeance
I felt true hatred for a character. He got almost got all he deserved. What a disgusting human. And the ending is just so beautiful. Amazing.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Vengeance. At first I was afraid I wouldn’t like it as much as the other Chan-Wook films, but then it really got going. I love Park Chan-Wook

The Green Knight
I didn’t like it. The filmmaker’s style wasn’t my cup of tea. The whole film felt long and unnecessary. I didn’t like the main character either.

Fear Street: 1666
The 1666 time period is my favorite of the trilogy. But when it gets back to 1994 it is the worse part of the trilogy. It did a good job wrapping up the overall story of the films. Two things I still can’t get over. The city was ok with building a mall on top of the camp that a bunch of kids were killed at, and where the “witch” was hanged. They did all this because Deena refused to let her ex die instead of her friends (and potentially her brother). Things that I thought were plot holes were shown not be. I liked that. From 1666: The fake accents were bad. Didn’t help the already mediocre acting. Sarah Fier was going to make a deal with the devil and had no problem doing so. But gets mad when someone else does it? From 1994: They did all that stuff over the years to be sheriff and mayor? Seems like a waste The dialogue was extra bad and cringy. The whole blood thing immediately attracting the killers, even though they are about to kill someone was dumb. And they wouldn’t kill the main characters as quickly as they killed everyone else.

Fear Street: 1978
It wasn’t much better than the first. It did set up the final movie nicely though. —SPOILERS— At the start I thought I was going to hate it. We were introduced to characters that seemed just mean for no reason. I thought they were made just so we can watch them die but then I realized they were Sunnysiders. The mall was built on the campground where a bunch of kids died and the hanging happened?! Did I miss that from the first movie? And finally. SHE GOT STABBED LIKE 20 TIMES HOW IS SHE STILL ALIVE. I don’t think CPR can save someone like that.

Now You See Me 2
A few cool scenes. The final act and ending was good. That is where my positives run out. The “magic” (pun intended) from the first one just isn’t present in the sequel. Felt like they were trying to bring back the twists and turns present in the first, and didn’t do so well.

Dust Bunny
I thought it was going to be a cozy movie to watch and turn my brain off. I realized quickly it wasn’t what I expected and was engaged the whole time.

Now You See Me
I enjoyed it. Didn’t expect the ending.

Fear Street: 1994
Some cool kills. —SPOLIERS— Imagine dying brutally to save one person. Who ends up possessed anyways. They should have just let her die. They didn’t even like her at the beginning. The ending was good and surprised me. You shouldn’t get mad at someone for leaving a violent, cursed town for a crime-free one. Kate’s head was in pieces. How can you frame it on her?

I like that my first diary entry on Millimetre is also my first ever viewing of this absolutely amazing film. Wow. The emotions and characters are just so good.
