The wildest, most imaginative, and most experimental local film I’ve seen in a while. It’s not something you “understand,” but something you feel, pulling you into its own logic until I stopped trying to figure it out and just went with it, with Wregas’s direction keeping it cohesive even at its most unhinged. Visually bold and dreamlike, with editing that plays by its own rules, it’s rough around the edges in a way that gives it life. A few scenes genuinely made me pause, and the score quietly builds that strange atmosphere. Weird, daring, and a little unhinged, it sticks with you.

just finished this and wtf, the anxiety is insane. such a great thriller and robert de niro is unreal

stupid fun in the best way. jokan actually lands the comedy here, way funnier than expected. ensemble works fine, no one feels out of place. aming really steals it though, every time he shows up the movie just picks up. gore is surprisingly well staged, not just shock value, more like oddly composed set pieces. satire is there but doesn’t really go anywhere, just kind of sits in the background. it’s messy, loud, and doesn’t try to be anything deeper than it is.
