Allegorical and otherworldly. One of the cool parts of this is seeing Brady Corbet and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s raw talent, and how it shows up in their own productions still today. An uncomfortable but gorgeous watch. This was my first introduction into Gregg Araki as well and my fourth time watching it overall.
