I gotta give thanks to the channel E! Entertainment because if it weren't for my staying up late surfing through channels, I wouldn't have known about this campy historical film.
Monkey Man
I remember wanting to see this movie in theaters, however, I never had the chance because it was not being shown at my local theater. Many people describe it as the Indian version of John Wick. Even though a lot of action movies were coming out, trying to imitate was popular (which was John Wick), at least this one was refreshing in its authenticity. The rawness and brutality of it make it beautiful. Clearly, Dev Patel had something to say, and fucking did!
Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender
Those animators made sure everyone is so goddamn hot! EVERYONE CAN GET IT!!! Now that I've got that out of my system, I can see why they were protesting not being released in theaters. The animation, fight choreography, and sound were great and would have been enjoyable if shown in theaters. The movie is clearly for fans who love the original show.

I didn't understand it the first time I saw it. My child's brain couldn't comprehend it. I thought, "If I ever acted like this, my mom would swing at me." On my second watch, I kinda got it, however, I still question it. As an adult, I finally understood it, especially when I think about how I was in my teen years. I was too young to comprehend you, and I apologize that it took me this long. I love you.

Watching an hour-long YouTube lore video is more entertaining than this. I can see the potential, however, they don't take it because I feel they are too scared to scar the kids watching.
