A highly entertaining and beautiful short, Next Floor shows that Villeneuve can still maintain stunning direction with a rather intriguing short. I see the symbolism in it, or at least my interpretation of its symbolism of capitalism and consumption. Nonetheless, Next Floor is an extremely engaging short that shows Villeneuve has always had a great taste for directing films.
