I expected this film to be a strong debut for Bill Burr. But apparently the film is just not as advertised. It feels so sloppy. It’s not a funny film. It’s more dramatic but it doesn’t feel like it even builds the drama right. I dunno. Like you suddenly got an epiphany at a strip club? And none of the characters except for Mike changed for the better. More of a (we just gotta hide our true masculine nature in order to conform with whatever going in these weird times). It just didn’t feel satisfying at all.
