Fresh off of the Saw franchise, Darren Lynn Bousman goes back to creating original films, this time being a very interesting conceptual film, but a film that still lacks in many areas. 11-11-11, scored by the amazing Joseph Bishara, is an average horror film with horrible acting. From the beginning of the film, the acting just wasn't up to par with the visuals and score, making the film really feel like it was just bad. There were many moments with potential in the film, but ultimately ended up being dull because of bad acting. This may be Bousman's style, since it was similar to the beginning of his latest film Abattoir, a film I have yet to finish. 11-11-11 has good direction and an amazing score, but the acting in the film just doesn't crack up to what it should be, making the film hard to watch and really just not enjoyable.
