Slightly cringe at times but still a fun and easy watch. He doesn’t say family that many times in this one which was disappointing, but I guess this is just the start. Now I’m just looking forward to Tokyo Drift, which is one of the greatest films ever made. Vince is a massive d*ck for no real reason throughout the film, but I guess the force hate worked.

um clássico é um clássico né. já tinha assistido alguns outros da franquia mas agora resolvi ver todos na ordem. não é exatamente o gênero de filme que eu costumo assistir, mas gostei bastante, já me apeguei aos personagens e não vejo a hora de ver todos os filmes <3

So I finally watched it. That thing that took over the lives of some of my teen friends when it first hit theaters 😆 Thickly sliced cheese, Point Break redux, Vin Diesel tidal wave, remarkable turn-of-the-millenium time capsule and remarkably entertaining as a result. This stupid stupid fun flick that launched a million 45mph suburban streetlight "races". But no really, just one great moment is when not-Keanu is emergency calling for the airlift and having to keep a panicked eye on an angrier and angrier Vin Diesel. And of course Ja Rule missing out on victory sex. Just... glossy toon energy throughout. Hallmark meets MTV. Brian meets Dom. Now kiss.

The Fast and the Furious (2001) is an exciting and fun ride with cool car scenes and a strong cast. The story is pretty simple and sometimes feels a bit shallow, but it’s entertaining enough. Overall, Fast and Furious 2001 is a solid action flick that started a popular franchise, even if it’s not the deepest movie out there.

This wasn’t as fun and exciting as I remembered. I unfortunately got wildly distracted by the blaccent Paul Walker put on. All of them sounded like they were whispering or something, soft spoken or shit audio? Felt very early 2000s. Nostalgic though, and other than the sound quality, it was well-made, so gets 3 stars.
