"Ooh. It's them damn enchiladas." Happy Friday the 13th!!! Probably my personal favourite Friday the 13th movie.

Just pretty meh as a movie. The most interesting moments are when Tommy is on screen. Other than that, it feels very tame and like it was (probably) cut to hell and back. Would a longer cut have been worth it? Who knows and honestly, who cares

Sabe aquele filme que você se diverte mas ao mesmo tempo se pergunta pra quê a existência dele? É esse. Filme desnecessário DEMAIS, eu tava tão animado pra ver o que fariam em relação ao Tommy mas fizeram um filme meio doido. Eu gostei da ideia de apresentar um Tommy traumatizado, mas poderia ter sido abordado melhor, ele criando laços com o pessoal do reformatório ou um aprofundamento no que ele sente, flashs de ilusão não é aprofundamento mas agradou. Esse é o filme que mas tem mortes e mais mortes criativas. Atuações péssimas, e assim, colocaram o Tommy traumatizado em meio a personagens rasos, e uma chacina a torto e a direita. Me irritou que cortou varias vezes na hora da morte em específico, o plot twist é ruim, no final ele é uma grande chacina que sim eu colocaria pra ver em algum momento mas ta longe de ser o favorito.

Really enjoyed this one, lots of fun kills even though they could’ve been gorier. Reggie the GOAT 🐐. 7/10
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning
This is definitely one of the ones that got screwed the most with the MPAA cutting down the violence. I love how sleazy and mean this one is, it almost feels like a parody of slasher films with the over the top nudity and high body count. I like that this film actually treats Jason as being dead, and I appreciate the whodunnit aspect of things, though when it’s finally revealed it’s probably not a great sign that the reaction from first time viewers is “who?”
