Going through these for the first time, please tell me shitting and not wiping doesn't become a thing in this series. :*( Have to give it the benefit of the doubt... I should only be watching this one at a revival 3D showing, surrounded by lively slasher fanatics, and already at least one pint deep.

Friday the 13th Part III
It's a given that you have to watch a Friday the 13th film on this holy day, so I chose to rewatch one of the more forgotten films for me, the third part of the series. I have been wanting to get the 3D version of this film for so long, and finally found a copy but haven't bought it yet, but I think I would enjoy this film much more if I watched it in 3D, as that's really how it's supposed to be watched. It's still as campy as ever and the kills are just as gory, but it's still one of the most fun entries in the series.

While it may not be as good as the first two films in the franchise, Friday the 13th Part III still gives the bloody fun that the series always has had. The 3D aspect of the film seems very dated and looks out of place in 2D, but it still manages to be an extremely fun film filled with new kills and even more Jason. These films are campy and they know it, ultimately making these films fun films to watch. This series, like many others, went on for far too long, but these early films still manage to be very fun films to watch.

Not as lean and gruesome as the previous entry, but still highly entertaining, Friday the 13th Part III is a solid addition to the franchise, offering some pretty great deaths, even if they’re toned down by the cheesy 3D effects. (And it’s worth mentioning that the scan of the new release, as a part of the Scream Factory box set, looks absolutely incredible. I’ve never seen the film look this good before.

Man, this film is such a fun watch. Decided to watch this one since it was Friday the 13th and (as cliche as it is) there was a thunderstorm that blew my power out while watching. Absolutely added to the experience. I have seen this one before but it was at least a decade ago with an old Blu-Ray copy on a box TV. This rewatch was kitted with the Shout Factory set made from 4K scans and on a flat screen. The difference was glorious The film looks beautiful, the teen characters are mostly fun (except r/niceguys creep "Shelly") and the music is funky as all hell. A little heavy on the "3D effect" but who cares, it's the film that birthed Jason Voorhees' iconic hockey mask! Also gotta shout out Chris Higgins (played by Dana Kimmell) for being one of the best final girls! This was just plain fun the whole way through

Essa aqui é icônico, Aqui a final girl é porreta, Jason aqui é icônico, porém bem mais molenga kkkk, por mais que temos aqui atuações nível "tele kwai" é aquela chatisse de querer filmar tudo em 3d, que enche o saco, alguns personagens se salvam, são justamente os dois melhores, a "chris" e o "shelly" muito bom Obs: shellyzinho vc nunca será esquecido

É um filme duplicata que até cansa, porém mais uma vez só não abaixei a nota porque ele se diferencia do primeiro em alguns pontos como o segundo também se diferencia. Novamente: há problemas técnicos e atuações questionáveis, sinto que a direção deu uma caída nesse filme, mas as mortes (que são a graça de um slasher) evoluiram muito e estão mais criativas e bem feitas. Porém tem a questão de ter sido feita pro 3D que acaba realmente matando alguns momentos. Tem a questão dos personagens, que dessa vez eu cheguei a gostar de alguns e me apegar mas nada demais. Quanto a protagonista eu cansei dela no meio do filme, sinceramente. A perseguição e o ato final é muito divertido, embora eu preferia que ela tivesse um final diferente do que teve (morrido). E tem o fato de que é o filme que consagrou a marca de Jason: sua máscara furada, então mantenho nota 3. Poderia ter sido mais, mas decaiu em muitas coisas. E ele é esquecivel, eu assisti recentemente e muita coisa me sumiu da memória. Basicamente: • + 2,0 = Mesma premissa, ritmo que peca e protagonista meia boca. • + 1,0 = Mortes muito boas, alguns personagens bons, algumas cenas do ato final.
