Really enjoyed this, just an all round entertaining watch. Absolutely crazy that people do this work for a job, entertaining to see how this sort of stuff happens. Thought the acting was good all round and the whole crew did unreal to save the man’s life. Didn’t know a human could be dead that amount of time and still wake up, crazy. The whole films crazy and keeps you on edge the whole time. Very good.

48/100 Check out my 2025 ranked - https://boxd.it/Fn1G4 One of those “the heart’s in the right place but the execution isn’t” and it’s unfortunate because it was interesting, albeit predictable interesting until his pipe got cut, I mean they literally fumbled on the main part which is the rescue, I’m sure a lot of it was more dramatic than it actually was but we’ll allow it. However you pair that with poor one liners and it gets bad. The whole sequence of him losing life with his fiancé pleading him to come back was beautifully done, the music was so soothing. Basically all of his sequences with his fiancé were the highlights because there seemed to be actual love there and yearning and excitement over a potential future. They wasted Woody, even that Craig actor had more a role. Woody felt like a name they had to add to the poster to improve their billing prospects. Regardless, another beautiful tale of the human can push himself harder than ever before and how there’s many such stories of successful rescue missions. We gotta celebrate the ones that do happen and in Chris’s case, it’s an anomaly, it’s literally an act of god and love.
