Great designs in robots and sets, but Star Wars wins with its bigger budget and attention to detail. The charm in the film remains in the use of double exposure photography and matte paintings to make it look like the space ships moved through space, as well as background window imagery. The film starts strong, muddles flat, and racks up most of its punches in the end, but because of so many written revisions, it isn’t the best picture when you immediately compare it to other space movies. Proof that Disney fails. They have the money to do so. And, in the end, they ultimately admit defeat when buying Lucasfilm. So if you can’t copy it, buy it! “𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴.
