The opening credits started to roll, and I immediately thought I'd accidentally clicked on some '89-Batman ripoff. But no, Danny Elfman is just out here with his signature sound! Pretty decent action film, with the usual Raimi-style shots and practical effects that are oh so groovy to watch. Liam Neeson is...ok. The story isn't terrible, although I would've liked it if Darkman had some sort of "power(s)", maybe similar to Spawn. All in all, the hero kinda sucks, but the filmmaking kinda rocks.
