Ice Age 2: The Meltdown has some funny moments and the returning characters are still fun to watch, but the story feels less fresh than the first film. The humor is hit-or-miss, and the emotional moments don’t land as well. Overall, Ice Age 2 is a decent sequel, but nothing too memorable.

If I had a dog, and that dog had a kid, and the dog's kid had a pet, that would be Sid.❞ · · ───── ⊹⊱∆⊰⊹ ───── · · Pretty good, but not as great as the first Ice Age. Sid and Diego's interactions were the big highlight here. I'm not a huge fan of Crash and Eddie, and Manny's romance with Ellie is a slow burn that's more slow than burn; nevertheless, it's a decent watch.
