One for the girls. To rid fate and destiny, the one, to get on and move on with a life bigger than a singular obsession, a fantasy. But you have to admire the ambition Tomei takes to try and get what she has always wanted, through charm and theatrical emotions. A young Robert Downey Jr. also adds to the charm of the film. Major rewatchability. A good man is hard to find, so why bother looking anymore. Made to correct all the predatory romcoms that came a decade before it.
