All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
the plot twist was good the movie was PURE GARBAGE
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
Oh this movie was goood. I was thinking "The style kind of reminds me of Warm Bodies." And turns out it's the same director. *spoiler* I unfortunately knew she was gonna be sort of the bad guy at the end since that spoiler was all over Twitter but the movie was still entertaining. I didn't feel bored for a second. The killings were pretty good!
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
I'm not sure why this movie has been getting such low reviews. This movie actually surprised me, which is a really good thing. The end was a tad predictable, but not terrible. I can honestly see why it grew to have a cult following, even before the movie was actually released.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
Really dig this movie. Love the way it plays with the audience, but never really cheats anything. Heard is really damn great here.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
Still really enjoy this. With the increase in meta horror over the years some of its potency is lost. But what hasn’t changed is that Amber Heard is fucking great in this.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
The film has potential, that a movie from the 2000s can be turned into a 70s slasher. Even though those are my positive points, it's predictable. An okay movie to kill time and enjoy its throwback aesthetic.

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
it’s not perfect but still an enjoyable movie. the biggest flaw for me is how Mandy’s character was written. we don’t know much about her, which yes, shows how mysterious she’s to everyone but it wasn’t done right imo. they basically made her a side character. we also don’t exactly know her motives for wanting to kill everyone including her best friend. was she always that way? someone who’ve always wanted to kill or is it something else? i haven’t read or watched any interview of the actors and director that could get this all more clear for me. so i have my own theory: she has always been tired of boys wanting her and bothering her, when she’s (obviously) secretly a lesbian. and when she saw her best friend accidentally kill that one guy, she realized that even he, someone who she trusted and thought loved her only as a friend, actually also wanted to be with her. then she snapped. now why did she want to just kill this one group of friends? idk, maybe after what happens in the movie, she kept killing people? i feel like this movie could’ve been done sm better. what i wasn’t expecting tho, was that some of the kills were way more gruesome than i thought they would be, and that’s a good thing
