Diary entries forViolent Night
Violent Night
Somewhat surprising that this is as good as it is, Violent Night is better than I expected. Sure, it’s not the greatest film ever made, but it’s good fun and has some very funny moments. Good puns, made better by the man sat next to me who shouted things out every minute or so. He was disabled so nobody minded, and to be fair he added to this sort of film, one time he shouted out ‘I wouldn’t do that if I were you’ and it reminded me of scooby doo, pretty funny stuff. Some brutal killings and a good ending.
Violent Night
David Harbour was perfectly cast for this, John Leguizamo was perfectly cast for this also the Home Alone homage scene may have been the longest I've laughed uninterrupted all month
Violent Night
kind of a disappointment. i wasn't expecting a masterpiece but the writing felt messy i guess. and the main thing that bothered me is this is supposed to be the "real" Santa but he was getting his ass kicked like he was just a guy in costume. like "real" Santa is a magical being but normal human men were kicking his ass at times. i liked when the little girl home alone'd the two idiot henchmen. overall it was fine, i might even watch it again.
Violent Night
"Christmas dies tonight." Masterpiece of a movie. Enjoyed how gory it surprisingly was. Also santa with his reindeer is me with my cats
Violent Night
A cozy and quite fun film that you can sit back and enjoy without having to put too much effort into. Definitely not the film that I’ll be adding into my yearly rotation, but one that I’ll watch if I ever want to have a good time during the holidays.
Violent Night
This was a lot of fun I definitely enjoyed the home alone recreation The Christmas music mixes really well with violence lol This could be classified as spoilers but santa being a former viking was interesting Yes I watched a Christmas film in February
Violent Night
eu poderia usar esse tempo pra estudar, mas acontece
Violent Night
john leguizamo and that kid SUCK in this. and basically everyone else except david harbour. and so does the entire story. basically if santa isn’t on screen it sucks. but when he is, it’s pretty fun
Violent Night
Slight letdown but still quite fun. I had been comparing this to Nobody (https://boxd.it/3ptSzV)in anticipation, as it was by the same producers, but they’re definitely two different kinds of movies (both are extremely gory though). David Harbour was good as a bad guy killing Santa, and I don’t really have any complaints about the rest of the cast.

COMEDYx52(024) (https://letterboxd.com/allbeef/list/comedyx52024/) #31 of 52 | Watch an action (https://letterboxd.com/films/popular/genre/action+comedy/) or martial arts comedy (https://letterboxd.com/robin/list/martial-arts/genre/comedy/) film. It’s got some high highs and some low lows, but I had a fun time. Not all the jokes land and it’s maybe a half-hour too long. Harbour is a great Santa and those fight scenes are a blast.
