Mckenna Grace March (https://boxd.it/TdwWe) This film was basically everything I wanted more of coming off of the first. It leans more into the chaos, on screen at least. The original I said felt like a slasher, but this one basically was a slasher. But it has more thought out characters than a typical slasher. I found this maybr more enjoyable than the first but idk yet. It improved in multiple ways that I felt the first didn't expand on enough. But the first being not as complex was good as well. It's honestly both dark and funny to watch a teenage girl be a serial killer. McKenna Grace not only starred in this but also produced and partially wrote this. She is great in this role though. I really enjoy how she flips back and forth from basic teenage girl to psychopathic killer lol. Like I said for the first, this reminded me a lot of American Psycho. Especially this one with all the psyche mind stuff. I also like how this leaned more into the kills than the previous. They were pretty creative kills for a teenage girl lol. The cast this time was ok for the most part. But McKenna Grace alone is amazing. There is some parts that can kinda feel unbelievable. However it still doesn't break anything. I also said I wanted to see McKenna Grace play more horror like villians, and this is basically what I said lol. This kinda makes me wish she was Ghostface in scream 7. I'm also glad this followed up the weird "mental illness" plot the first had. It actually makes the first make more sense in a few ways. Overall I found this enjoyable and a very interesting but cool horror film. Cool because its basically Patrick Bateman if he was a teenage girl lol.
