68/100 Maybe it’s weird I say this but the way this film started with the Ku-Klux Klan, I just had a feeling it would at least be interesting. This was way better than the first, way better. It had a similar amount of comedy as the first film but the rest of the film tied together much better. The villain for one was powerful and weirdly had an aura. The plot with his sister was set up well at the beginning so you knew things would revolve around her and it keeps you engaged. Gabrielle Union is sexy as hell, well done D Wade. At least Marcus compensated at the end for being a shit cop for two whole films, Mike carried most of this film. Marcus was dumbed down and rendered useless for most of it, I’m glad his accent was toned down though. The action was better and the ending was well-constructed. A surprisingly good action comedy. And that Michael Bay cameo was gold.
Bad Boys II
Way larger in scale and less focused on comedy, it’s a great sequel with tons of action. The leads are still really enjoyable to watch, and the story is surprisingly solid. 8.5/10

Michael Bay takes a lot of shit from people, but you gotta admit the dude knows how to shoot action scenes with cool fucking explosions.

Bad boys 2 desecha el contenido y a raíz de eso nace la comedia anarquista y explosiva de Michael Bay quien no busca reconstruir una historia lógica ni contundente, simplemente busca divertir con la química perfecta de Will Smit y Martin Lawrence y como bad movie de comedia es bastante funcional y divertido.
