You Hurt My Feelings
The Old Lady-Verse: Episode 5 -YOU HURT MY FEELINGS Meh, it was fine. A bit boring and the main story starts too late and ends too early. The acting was great though, even if I could only ever see Julia as Elaine. Most of the comedy was good too, quite a few funny moments. 7/10
You Hurt My Feelings
this movie was just actors reading scripts and cameras shooting footage… the stilted dialogues and lack of pulse in general felt kinda surreal in the funniest way
You Hurt My Feelings
Somewhat slight, but a very enjoyable time at the theater. Deceptive in its depth. Louis-Dreyfus is unsurprisingly great, but for me Tobias Menzies stole the show. Superbly pitched film. 2023 Ranked (https://boxd.it/kiMdu)

07-01-23 • Nicole Holofcener Sweet and playful, You Hurt My Feelingstells the story of Beth (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) dealing with the newfound knowledge that her husband, Don (Tobias Menzies), has not liked her new book. It’s an interesting film that manages to craft some fairly intimate character studies from a seemingly simple premise. Dialogue is clever, characters are played straight, it never leans on crass humor to get its laughs — it’s mature, authentic, and above all, honest.

You Hurt My Feelings
You Hurt My Feelings is so funny, lite, heart-warming, and relateable. Love it. New comfort movie unlocked.
