I don't think I've seen something as 50's as this film! The Blob is just a lot of fun. You rarely see the monster and see a lot of the people. It's not perfect, but it's a great watch.

Man, this film was a fun watch! Every character shines through, the music is great, the effects are perfect for what this film is and it's suprisingly funny. The film isn't trying to drag it's runtime, the plot starts off almost Immediately! Really fun film! It's not really scary but it's really fun!

Classic Film Challenge (https://letterboxd.com/goghaliens/list/the-bride-of-hurray-for-hollywood-classic/detail/) #5: Watch a teen horror film Would have missed The Thing's cousin in action had it not been for this challenge. I was hesitant going into this film, did fall asleep in the middle, but really liked it visually. The yellow lighting & colors were striking and superb! Also this felt very modern? Not necessarily in its plot, themes etc, but in its production design and cast, if that makes sense? Like a recent decade's movie about '50s teens; merely channeling that era. 'the end'....'?'

Ig on the bright side of us killing our planet we have the blob's hot girl summer to look forward to 💀💀 So funny, i love the way the blob looks, i really enjoyed the ways they had it ooze through spaces, the way they scaled it to look large and the way it ATE that old man up Ngl i teared up when they were trapped in the cellar 😞🙏
