Wait, why this is so aesthetic? Story wise this is so futuristic at that time, also THE OUTFIT? Really like it. Horror that will pamper your eyes, so eye candy. Kinda want to do it what their do there too.
The Cell
Loved this movie since seeing it in theaters 25 years ago. I get why people don’t like it, but it’s filled with such rich visuals, I can’t help but be won over. More to the point of a rewatch for horror purposes, this is one of the films I still find unsettling. It’s got this palpable feeling of grimy grossness to the whole thing. It works because it feels at odds with the clean painterly visuals, creating a dissonance that furthers the unsettling nature of Starger’s inner being.
