my roommate and i watched it for the first time last night while getting drunk and we were screaming the whole time because of the sexual tension throughout the whole movie. (also my roommate has been listening to hungry eyes on repeat since we finished watching the movie, which was twelve hours ago)

Hey, this is like that song from Fall Out Boy! Directed by Emile Ardolino, "Dirty Dancing" is a movie I've suprisingly never seen until now and holy cow. I enjoyed this! Jennifer Grey is acting her ass off. The scene where Baby delivers an incredibly emotional monologue to her father actually made me cry (which I wasn't expecting). The pacing can feel a wee bit sluggish at points but the chemistry between Grey and Swayze, and the energy of the dance sequences, make up for it. Not to mention the iconic Lift scene. Good stuff!
