Top Secret!
Silly, outrageous, and plain hilarious; another side-splitting creation by Jim Abrahams and David and Jerry Zucker. Top Secret! isn't the team's best (I like to think either Naked Gun or Airplane! takes the cake), but here is nonetheless a nonsensically entertaining side of humor you don't normally see in film, with little plot, and a young and suave Val Kilmer. One particular scene is devoted to his character Nick Rivers, a rock n' roll singer, performing two tunes in front of a sea of frantically screaming women. It mimics Elvis Presley and even The Beatles. Of course, Kilmer's performance spirals into absurd comedy towards its end, and the way he acts is such a lampoon of what and who he is parodying. I don't want to say its his favorite of mine, but it's a rollicking good one.
