the listed tagline on this is "A perverse, ironic, grotesque and bloody story about looking for love and discovering one’s own self in a world that divides us more than it unites us." and that would have sold me immediately if I hadn't already been blind watching this (when I say blind watching this I mean I didn't even see the film this was a sequel to) So feel free to drag me in the comments for loving this, I had no idea what to expect at all and it definitely wasn't a constant-tone-shifting horror comedy about these monsters who simultaneously kill for fun, for revenge, out of jealousy, and out of hope to make the world a bit less cruel and mean if it's going to survive, these idiot humans who do nothing right and nothing good and nothing selfless, and this one lonely scaredy-cat Polish cop who's stuck in the middle of just trying to better and kinder than everyone around him, even when he begins to switch from one side to the other The joke scenes didn't always land but some that did were among the best comedy I've seen all year. This was gory as hell and had one scene that legit surprised me. Some of the characters sucked but that made me enjoy their deaths more. Maybe on a worse day this wouldn't have gotten me in the right mood to enjoy it so much, but today was a good day to see some dumb fun bloody shit Make as much of these as you want
