54/100 I have now seen two movies in two days where a woman destroys a legendary man’s life and surprisingly the man just lets her. Sad times. My favourite cameo was Jack Black. That ensemble cast though… damn.

❝Well, from all of us here at Channel 4 News, I'm Ron Burgundy. You stay classy, San Diego!❞ ۫ ׅ ⊹₊˚‧ ︵‿ ₊ ୨ ᰔ ୧ ₊ ‿︵ ‧˚₊⊹ ׅ ۫ This was a very typical early 2000s comedy, not that that’s a bad thing. When I think about it, I’ve never really given much thought to TV anchors, or what goes on behind the scenes, so in that sense this was kind of interesting to see. The cast did a good job, especially Will Ferrell, and I loved seeing all the random celeb cameos throughout the film. However, the comedy didn’t really land for me, especially since some of it relied on second-hand embarrassment, which I absolutely can’t stand. So, overall, not completely my cup of tea, but I'm glad I gave this classic a go.

I have not laughed this much at a movie in a long time 😂. So many great comedic moments, especially the fight scene, plus the cast is awesome. 8/10

The shockingly funny moments unfortunately don’t really work on rewatch (besides one…) but they’re still hilarious and I cannot give it anything lower than a 5. Unrated cut doesn’t really add much, I believe they changed the scene after Ron’s F-bomb and it was definitely not as good. 10/10
