it looks amazing but it feels too long

The concept of watching this movie in order to complete Madonna's discography and listen to I'm Breathless. I broke my streak with Asian films but this was worth it. Looks and feels so good. If a director made a movie that looks like they would get killed in the way of Wahlberg shooting Damon in The Departed. CBMs should look like this again and don't tell me that SUPERMAN (2025) is a good looking film IT'S NOT. Pacino over the top, Dustin Hoffman unhinged, Madonna was surprisingly good, everyone look's so fucked up. Probably the only movie I'm gonna watch from Madonna's filmography for now, I skipped Who's That Girl. Oh yeah True Blue is her best so far in her discography

This film ABSOLUTELY needs to be remade for today's audiences, with the same colorful aesthetic and crazy characters but with a better script and slightly bigger budget. I'm thinking like Matt Reeve's The Batman (https://letterboxd.com/film/the-batman/) except substitute a moody billionaire in hockey pads with a chiseled detective in a yellow trench coat.
