Not only one of the greatest animated films of all, but one of the greatest films of any genre, The Lion King is a masterpiece. It’s funny, has some of the best songs Disney have ever come out with and had a great arc. It’s a great film and even after several watches it’s still amazing.

How could I not see this in theaters
The Lion King
There's nothing like watching the original film, only to find out that the trailer for the new film dropped while watching it. The Lion King still is one of the greatest animated films of all time, and one that I still wholeheartedly love. My mom's boyfriend hadn't seen this film before, and was really surprised at how much he enjoyed it. This film really is one that defines my childhood, and one that I still love to this day.

Remember who you are.❞ · · ──────⊹⊱ ✦ ⊰⊹────── · · (I couldn't choose which quote to add so I included a couple of my favourites) When I saw the latest Hans Zimmer cinema concert earlier this year, there were so many great scores from films I love. But none of them made me cry as much as 'Remember/This Land' and 'The Circle of Life'. The Lion King is one of my favourite Disney films to this day, and it's virtually perfect. Scar is one of the best animated villains of all time, and Mufasa (RIP James Earl Jones 🕊) is so regal and wise. It's got great songs, beautiful 2D animation, and an excellent script; I don't think there's anyone who would hate this film.
