Diary entries forThe Good, the Bart, and the Loki
The Good, the Bart, and the Loki
From scared of being alone to craving a glorious purpose—now he’s totally burdened with it. Loki’s gone from a top villain to Marvel Studios’ greatest hero. Odin and Thor would be shedding tears of pride! 😭
The Good, the Bart, and the Loki
GIVE ME SEASON 2 ALREADY BECAUSE I NEED A LOT OF EXPLANATION WHAT THE FUCK
The Good, the Bart, and the Loki
Loki Episode 1: A good start. The episode introduces the characters and the world we’re now in very well, with good pacing and sequencing. It’s funny, has a good almost mystical feel to it, and it seems to be lining up something very special. Hopefully it makes good on it’s early promise. 7/10 Episode 2: Very interesting stuff, you get the feeling this will turn into a very good show. The lore and world building is fantastic, acting fantastic and cinematography fantastic. The CGI is also great as always and Loki is up to no good as always. The Women Loki seems interesting and Mobius also seems a good character. Very excited to see the next episode. 8/10 Episode 3: Sadly this episode wasn’t very good at all. Women Loki comes off as almost trying too hard to be dominant and not much apart from constantly arguing happens. Also, why are Lokis powers so inconsistent? One minute he can stop a falling building and the next he can’t beat some mediocre guards in a fight. Makes no sense which makes for a poor episode. CGI is still beautiful though. 4/10 Episode 4: Far better than 3 but still not amazing. A good ending, with a somewhat predictable reveal about the timekeepers. A good post credit scene and hopefully lining up for a fantastic final two episodes. Crazy that Loki and Girl Loki are somewhat romantically involved. A fun episode. 7/10 Episode 5: Pretty interesting episode, Loki and Sylvie are a full on couple and I don’t mind it, despite its implications. Mobius is a GOAT, a brilliant character. CGI looks good as always and all the Lokis are pretty interesting. A good episode which hopefully lines up a great finale. 8/10 Episode 6: I hate to say this, but the finale was very disappointing. It wasn’t particularly interesting and Sylvies decision making is somewhat terrible. It seems like a teaser for season 2 more than a finale to season 1 which was very annoying to see. CGI is great as always and acting is solid, Tom Hiddleston is a fantastic actor. Just a shame how this ended. 4/10 Overall: It’s a decent enough series with great actors, CGI and ideas. For me though this felt more like a taster for what’s to come more than an original series of its own. There were episodes I really enjoyed and episodes I really didn’t. It’s a mixed bag. Mobius (Owen Wilson) is my favourite character and he absolutely crushes the role, being the character I cared about the most. In conclusion, 6/10
