SPOOKTOBER #8 Cronenberg’s films never cease to astonish me. He always brings something unique and unexpected to the table, and it’s crazy how his work still feels relevant today. His films are just mind-blowing!
Videodrome
The first half was excellent but I feel the second half wasn’t as fun or entertaining. Performances were great, story interesting and a unique premise. Just wish the second half was as good as the first.

c'était ... particulier
Videodrome
Shoutout to Cronenberg for making great fucked up films and shoutout to Debbie Harry for this great performance, both of whom made me love a James Woods film, which sure as shit ain't easy. For my money this is a better body horror film than his Fly effort
Videodrome
Alright fine, I'll go hook up the VCR.
Videodrome
Mr. Cronenberg back at it with the disgusting practical effects that I will never be able to unsee. Intrusive thought: I wonder how many ppl have that on their “hear me out” cake?
Videodrome
You'll forgive me if I don't stay around to watch. I just can't cope with freaky stuff. What an odd little film Videodrome is. What genre does this fall in? Can it fall into a genre? I'm not sure. But what I am sure about is the fact that this film still hits us in our modern day. People today are prone to being used to violence and sex. Even I don't cringe when I see these types of things, which is what this film was talking about. I could see how it was relevant back in the 80's, but it's much more relevant to today's society. This is my first film by Cronenberg, and I'm interested in the rest of his work now. This film was interesting, but extremely odd, which kept me very interested. I'm really excited to see the rest of his work, as this has set a precedent that may be pretty hard to follow.

Fantasi liar
Videodrome
i could say something cool about how this film discusses the effects the media would have on people. or the body horror (freaky!). nevertheless i will just say. this is some Peak Freak.
Videodrome
this feels quite prescient for its time
