The ending was tragic too hoping they're reincarnate again. I heard that NCT Jaehyun will remake this film but it get cancelled? So sad i can't see Jaehyun remake this, it would be awesome. Anyway Lee Byunghun is still handsome as he was now 😍

❝After I'm born again, I'm going to look for you, and when I do, I'll fall in love with you again.❞ · · ───── ·⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆· ───── · · On one hand, Bungee Jumping of Their Own has some really well-executed elements, but on the other, it's problematic in so many ways. I love a good reincarnation plot, but having a 30+ year old teacher fall in love with his 17 year old student is truly disturbing. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the film makes being gay seem worse than being a paedophile, which was absolutely insane; I genuinely couldn't believe my eyes the entirety of the second half. It's a shame because the scenes set in 1983 were pretty good, but they became tainted by the rest of the film. Lee Byung-hun gives a good performance, to be sure, and the non-linear storytelling was excellent. I also liked a lot of the cinematography, such as the soft aesthetic to the look of the film and the cyclical structure emphasised by the camerawork and opening and closing shots. With that said, though, I can't say that this is a good film, and unless you're a mega fan of Lee Byung-hun, it's not worth watching this.
