One of the more iconic of the classic science fiction films, The Day the Earth Stood Still is a film that is hard to escape. Still known today, this film is more of a cultural phenomenon, with the classic image of the alien robot being something that is still in people's minds today. It's a very entertaining film that does look cheap at times, but makes it much more enjoyable when watching it in a double feature with another alien sci-fi movie.
