i did not find ewan mcgregor charming and nicole kidman definitely carried the movie. im also glad that they changed a lot of things to the 2019 stage musical cause there’s so many things in here that doesn’t sit right with me. lastly, i wish satine would look at me the same way she looks at christian.

Pinnacle of the era -- where deviantarts and trash polkas collide in unrelenting exuberance, where the shuffle button on the playlist is mashed into the dash, where the actors commit utterly to the well-worn forms and cliche all but melts into insignificance. Pop heaven or hell, take your pick, it demands all of it from you either way.

"the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" Everytime I watch this movie I fall in love harder and harder with Christian, he's obsessed with love (like me), dreamy and charming, I mean I saw that perfect smile and those sparkling eyes and I fell for him instantly, but when he sings a whole mix of love songs just to tell Satine that they should love each other, omg he gets me on my knees. I can't with my unhealthy love and obsession for this movie, I FREAKING LIVE AND BREATHE FOR MOULIN ROUGE.
