❝If I do marry, I want it to be for love.❞ ⊱ ──── . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. ──── ⊰ Aladdin is an absolute childhood classic; I remember being so scared by the Cave of Wonders when I first watched it that I turned the entire TV off, and proceeded to regret doing so when I wanted to see what happened next in the film. Growing up, Jasmine was the only brown rep I saw on-screen for quite some time 😭, so she was and is still among my favourite Disney Princesses. But the film overall is so magical, from the vibrant colours and beautiful 2D animation to the brilliant voice cast, especially the lovely Robin Williams as Genie. This is a film that's full of nostalgia, and I'll continue to love it in the future.

I really appreciate how well the animation and story still hold up, but most importantly I think how well it’s paced. A Whole New World and Prince Aliare still hits that stick. The remake won’t be able to do it!
