I've just applied for a waiter position, and this movie is scaring me, i don't think i have a good mental to work in fnb industry. Well for the movie, i like it, it's thrilling and love the one shot take tho, i don't realise it was one shot take, but yeah Andy really fucked up, he's more fucked up than Beth and all workers me think.

❝I do not get paid enough to deal with this shit.❞ ⊱ ────── {⋆⌘⋆} ────── ⊰ Boiling Point is a cleverly shot film that allows the watcher to become immersed in the stressful atmosphere of a professional kitchen. The one-take execution is excellent and adds to the feeling of pressure as it builds through the film (the man at table 7, Jake and the influencers filled me with unbridled rage). The cast was great, with Stephen Graham and Vinette Robinson in particular standing out to me, especially Carly's monologue at Beth. Each person had their own problems, and to see them all mount gradually until things collapsed was nerve-wracking. I absolutely loved Boiling Point; it was a fantastic watch and I will certainly be checking out the series to see what happens next.

While excellent and impressive from a technical angle, it still falls to the traps and tropes that plague movies about the industry. It’s probably one of the better facsimiles, but because of it’s one shot real time nature, it becomes a whole lot to occur in too little time, and some pretty damn basic stuff doesn’t ring true.
