Feel like the film lost most of its potential the moment the monster killed the majority of the criminals when it was introduced. The criminals and the cops teaming up to fight some monster whilst they’re stranded on a boat in the middle of nowhere would’ve been brilliant. Unfortunately, this isn’t that. It looks nice. The warm colours mix well with the violence. But felt like they dropped the ball with the script in the second half. The female cop (played by Jung So-Min), whom I had thought to be the main character, just dies really suddenly when the main antagonist shoots her. I expected her to survive, then they threw this really obvious plot twist in. It feels like it’s trying to be two different things, but it ended up not really feeling like a whole lot at all. If you want to watch something violent. This is the movie for you.
