This is one of the best movies I have ever watched. The way the screenplay was written, Ranbir Kapoor 's performance, it's music, visual storytelling and fantastic direction by Imtiaz Ali , this movie truly ticks every box. Ranbir's acting was the highlight of this movie. The way he had portrayed the character in different phases is just pure brilliant. And it's music was just a cherry on the top, not a single song is bad and every song contributes to the story. And Imtiaz Ali has done a masterpiece level of work in writing, screenplay & direction. Some things he tells through dialogues, some through visuals and some things you are left to wonder and think about. He is really one of the best Indian filmmakers till date. It's really a shame that this movie was not a hit at that time. Perhaps it was ahead of its time or the audience was not ready for this level of cinema. This is the type of work that I could talk about for hours. And this will age really fine. Pure Cinema❤️❤️
