unreal film. pretty convinced that the people in China back then can float and walk on water. how does this movie exists in our lifetime?? I don't think I need to say what has already been said. Perfect film.

One person’s pain is nothing when compared to the suffering of all. HERO has become one of my favorite films of all time. If you know me, you know I don’t say that lightly. For me, it is nearly impossible to know something that important (and it’s important to me!) after one viewing. Nearly impossible. HERO has become one of those rare exceptions, reminding me of my love for cinema and just how effective a medium it can be when utilized appropriately. Every frame, every fight, and very dialogue exchange is brimming with heart and a fierce passion for the story it’s telling. Saturated in colorful cinematography and breathtaking, fantastical, action—you can’t help but be in awe of the seemingly effortless craft that is on display here. Technicolor Rashomon wuxia excellence. I don’t think I could forget a single frame if I tried.
