Under the Skin
It’s fine. Maybe it just didn’t work for me, most of the reviews go on about the ‘point’ and how it’s showing what, and how good, it is to be human. For me, that’s not what makes a film instantly good. It’s nowhere near as creepy or disturbing as people make it out to be either, sure the finale is a little strange but it’s not scary at all. The film isn’t bad, but I really just don’t get the hype. Scarlett Johansson isn’t even that good in this, she doesn’t really do much, which I get as she’s not human she doesn’t feel the same emotions, but that doesn’t make for a compelling performance. Like I said, it’s fine. Not bad by any means, but just not really for me.

Oh my god, just... stunning! Put me in one of those cup holders and drive me around for another two hours. (For me this year it's contending with Museum Hours in allowing the viewer exquisite time, as humanity cascades. As identity/subject peels away.)

The way i didn't understand this movie, i thought i watching a porn or dreaming like you had when you sick. It's just some guy and Scarlett Johansson naked and Scarlett looks confused and searching for another one. I love you Scarlett but i really confused, i guess i'll had the dream about it.

This film is proof that people will hype up anything with an attractive female lead. Still love you ScarJo though, but you’re better than this.

This movie definitely is a slow burner. There isn't really a plot, just her. The movie is beautifully done. It is definitely for people who want to see the deeper message of the film.

- ok so it started well and then im not sure when but it just nose dived and i started thinking about cleaning my room. - The score was good some of the shots of strangers were real genuine. - Just got to the end and was like eh.
