rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ what the fuck ? (in a good way) i don't even know where to start with this, probably by saying that the gore in this was next level and i am obsessed. the blood ?! insane. it was so perfect. i really liked this one, it had me on the edge of my seat and reminded a lot of the mid 2010's survival horror like world war z and no escape. i really enjoyed it, of course the sexual aspect of the whole thing was extremely disturbing but i genuinely believe it could have been worse ?? i went through a lot of reviews before watching because i had seen a lot of trigger warnings surrounding the movie and yes, stay away from this if you have a weak stomach or dislike gore or sa in horror, but i was really expecting the worst of the worst and was pleased it wasn't as bad as i thought (they refrained from being graphic with the sa). still, watch with precaution because none of these trigger warnings are usually enjoyable lol. i want more movies like this, more survival horror and gore like this. i couldn't even finish my cereal bar like there was just soooooo much blood loooool but still ahhhh loved it and will be thinking about it for a while it made me so emotional.
