A Monster in Paris
❝We each have our destiny. Yours lies in the shadows, and mine's out in the spotlight!❞ 𐄁─────⋆⁺‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧⁺⋆─────𐄁 A pretty charming film about a giant flea. The plot loses a bit of steam around halfway through, but it's carried by the excellent music and Raoul's witty zingers. My biggest gripe is the animation style; while I have no objections to 3D, it's a bit flat and not very inspiring. There were some scenes (like at the Botanical Gardens in the beginning) which visually could've been way more appealing. However, leaving that aside the cast were great, especially Vanessa Paradis and Adam Goldberg, and I loved how Vanessa's voice blended with Sean Lennon's during the songs. So yeah, overall A Monster in Paris is a nice film, and I think I'd enjoy it more with other people.
