Fun and easy to watch, definitely not my favourite Christmas film but still a decent enough time. Feel like the first half drags a bit but the second more than makes up for it. Obviously the robbery scenes are the best, you’re just waiting for that part in all honest. A good time nevertheless.

Home Alone is simply fun and a true classic for the whole family. The ideas for how Kevin defends his house against burglars are creative and super funny. Macaulay Culkin as Kevin is totally likeable and brings a lot of charm. However, some scenes are quite exaggerated and unrealistic, which makes the film seem a bit silly at times. Nevertheless, that's exactly what works for me because it makes the story so entertaining and unforgettable. A film I enjoy watching again and again.

It's the holiday season already, and I've been in the mood to revisit a childhood classic, so Home Alone was the definite choice. This film manages to bring a ton of nostalgia back, bringing back those great memories of sitting in the living room, under a blanket, sipping hot cocoa, while a snow storm settles outside. It's still funny and still as surprising as it was when I first watched it, still managing to keep it's innocence throughout the years. Home Alone is one of the best holiday films, especially one of the best holiday comedies. This won't be my only viewing of this film for sure, but it's a great way to start off the holiday season.

Forgot how good this movie was. That heartfelt scene in the church is my favorite scene in the entire film, then follows up to Kevin trying to kill Joe Pesci and Daniel.
