Barely took a full day of Chattanooga for me to find the first thing I can confidently say I loved, no strings attached. Kimberly Stuckwisch and Melora Donoghue's co-directorial feature debut is just a fully-solid verbal unpacking of a fucked up family of artists, both siblings reuniting at last decades after their abusive dad's passing and both having changed in some ways and having stayed the same in some deeper more fucked up ways. In the end the only thing both learned more than art was sometimes pain is the only thing that'll bring a result Both leads are amazing for different reasons; Joanne Kelly obviously has nightmarishly effective breakdowns, but the standout performance for me is Bridget Regan who goes from sympathetic to unhinged at the drop of a hat. The longest feature I've seen in the fest thus far (significantly so; 100mins here, the prior three were 70-75), it kept me captivated throughout. Pretty damn good for a (mostly-)bloodless thriller! Something I want to go out of my way to rewatch again soon. Physical distribution when?

A simple short, but an effective one. Pulls directly at the heartstrings.

Esta estéticamente bello pero no tiene mucho impacto a pesar de que tiene un argumento muy bello.
