A Classic Horror Storyleans into genre tropes, offering a fun take on the typical horror tropes, but unfortunately doesn’t do much to set itself apart from the tropes. A fun film to watch, but one that feels a little too familiar to let it stand out.

Tan solo pierdes el interes rapidamente, desde que conocemos la profesión de su sus personajes sabes como culminara, una historia clásica de terror peca en creer tonto al espectador, demasiado pobre para cubrir el trauma del Found Footage de una película como tesis que cumple el mismo objetivo incluso cuando intenta referenciarse en la cultura del genero.

The poor man’s Cabin in the Woods. You need more than references to make a good horror movie. The first half had me hooked. I liked the creatures and lore and some of the earlier scenes (like the first main character death). Then the reveal comes along and the rest of the movie and I just didn’t care for it anymore. As a horror movie fan, I had a good time noticing all the references. That’s about the best thing this movie has going for it. Like the Ready Player One or Space Jam of horror movies. Not a terrible movie, but not great. 5/10
