I love this one, even though it looks goofy. The makeup, the craziness, and the creative demon design are all awesome. The scene where Ash battles his own hand is my favorite.

Frenético, bem humorado, sangrento e Sam Raimi do começo ao fim empregando sua marca é um clássico que é tão bom, se duvidar melhor, que seu antecessor. Poucos são os cineastas que conseguem fazer sequências que estão altura de seu grande primeiro Filme. Sam Raimi fez mais do que isso, ele o superou em todos os aspectos. Mostrando que era apenas o começo de sua carreira.

Day 7 of 31 Nights of Halloween After many years of anticipation, I’ve finally watched Evil Dead II, and am very glad to say that I loved every second of it. I was surprsised to see how much I knew about this film, simply from listening to the fantastic musical adaptation Evil Dead The Musical. It maintains the high quality of the original, while turning the series on its head, making every minute unbelivably fun. I’ll have to watch Army of Darkness soon so I can finally have this franchise complete!

Alright, I'm going to get this out of the way and say that I like the first film a touch more than this one. However, this film is a great sequel! There's a lot I love about this movie. National treasure Bruce Cambell for starters, who gives an amazing performance with majority of it being physical acting and not dialogue. You can see his acting improvements from the previous film and you see Ash go through a real arc. The effects have improved a lot and they really go all out on the designs of the deadites. The new lore additions are pretty sick and the entire final act is a marvel. While I love "The Evil Dead"'s ambiguous ending, I love the bleak ending of this film. The slow pan up revealing the castle with Ash screaming "No" as he's hailed is top tier! I'd say the only issue I had really was the first 8 minutes of the movie. I know that they had rights issues with the first film, so they had to do a recap of the first Evil Dead as the opening. It feels like they really didn't want to recap the last movie though as a lot was left out and it's very rushed While I love this film with it's dark comedy, horror and action blend, it doesn't top the original for me. If you want a pure horror film - go with the original. However, if you want a campy, gory, comedy with some incredible acting - this one is for you!

Vou manter o quatro, o filme é claramente uma comédia terroristica pastelão desde o primeiro e esse continua divertidissimo, e é isso, nem tudo precisa ter uma expertice, um roteiro de outro mundo ou uma composição assustadora, esse filme é um exercício a criatividade.
