The atrocities black people went through is unpredictable still and anonymous. It's hard to believe that this happened. This was no less than a holocaust. I have a dream today. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character. A person who thought he was wise and was appreciated and respected was tortured due to the color of his skin. It is utterly painful and heartbreaking.

A very powerful movie with some absolutely amazing performances, especially Chiwetel Ejiofor who is phenomenal in this. An amazing piece of history which will now never be forgotten. An amazing film.

This story is heavy and emotionally charged in every way possible. I wasn’t fully invested in the beginning, but as the story progressed, I became increasingly drawn in. The final 20 minutes or so had me tearing up. What a story! After this, I had to turn onHarold and Kumar Go to White Castle (https://boxd.it/1Ueu)just for some cheering up.
