Friend or foe? It’s nice to finally see the two beauties from Interstellar in one frame, this time delivering a performance just as good. The film turned out great, I’d even say very good. Despite all the terrible events, the film gives you hope for something better, only to then plunge you back into more awful events. A true emotional rollercoaster.

Instinto materno é uma bela preciosidade pro cinema. Não é um grande filme, mas é aquele filme que existe pra compor a nossa existência. É aquele filme pra você assistir, rever, ver com outra pessoa, só pra sentir raiva ou outra coisa. O filme é muito bem dirigido, principalmente pra construir esse mistério do que de fato tá acontecendo, quem tá ou não está maluco, e no final tá todo mundo meio maluco. A Anne Hathaway foi excepcional aqui, ela conseguiu traduzir dentro da medida do possível a personagem, mas sinto que ela se perdeu devido a dualidade que a personagem Celine se propõe. Já a Jéssica, como a personagem Alice é mais sólida, ela soube de fato expressar, expor a loucura que tá acontecendo ao redor dela. E acho engraçado que o filme também mostra como a harmonia, a família perfeita, também tem seus defeitos. Por trás de uma familia rica, bela, sorridente, bem relacionada, tem mulheres levemente infelizes, homens buscando por mais, e ai acontece de fato a tal tragédia que é citada na sinopse que muda tudo. E o garoto, o Téo, eu não consegui entende-lo, não ficou claro se ele estava por dentro do que tava acontecendo, se tava atordoado, não foi transparecido, nem mesmo no final. O filme é ótimo e bem dirigido, eu reassistiria de novo, mas não diria que é o auge ou o estopim do cinema. É só mais um filme pra criticar algo e pra estar ali.

Worth watching for Chastain and Hathaway facing off against each other for 90 minutes. Unfortunately, there’s never really any doubt about the machinations behind the scenes, and you’re never left wondering what will happen next. uhm, that was predictable. i was rooting for jessica though and hoped for a better ending... but yeah, it is really frightening to share your secrets with people, even if you have a close relationship with them!! they mothered!!!!
