this is just so fun to watch, from start to finish i was just laughing my ass off while being confused. the acting from jamie foxx, john boyega, and teyonah parris are so excellent and the dynamics and chemistry are so good. netflix really get some hits every once in a while. sucks that they don’t give their employees the pay that they deserve.

76/100 Probably the surprise of the year! Unique, twisted, funny, serious and one hell of a concept! The trio at the centre of it is perfect. Finally seeing Monica Rambeau act well and John Boyega was very very good in this film. Jamie Foxx is the most entertaining man in any film as usual.

A really interesting Sci fi film, that I quite enjoyed. Some good action towards the end and some crazy science stuff. I liked that ending scene made me want a sequel to this. Im so glad John Boyega said he would return to star wars 🙏. There is some horror stuff to it that reminded me of Get Out. It also has a good amount of comedy with the main 3 cast. I enjoyed when the whole neighborhood stormed the facility at the end.

We cool cats, but we still cats.❞ · · ────── •⊰✧⊱• ────── · · Every once in a while, you find a real gem buried deep within the rubble of shitty Netflix originals, and this is one of them. If Barbenheimer hadn't been so huge in 2023, I'm certain They Cloned Tyrone would've been massive. The plot is bizarre but works because of the chemistry between its main cast members – Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parris especially were awesome together and had great line delivery and comedic timing. The plot twist was pretty good, though I would've liked to learn more about how the operation worked nationwide. I loved the soundtrack, outfits and soft grain of the film; they gave it a more retro vibe/dreamlike quality that fit the themes very well. I had a great time watching this, and I hope a sequel is announced because I have so many questions.
