Diary entries forThe Hand of God
The Hand of God
Slow and reflective, The Hand of God pulls back the curtain and gives a glimpse into the life of director Paolo Sorrentino, examining his growing up in Naples, as well as dealing with the hardships that life threw at him. It’s slow, but intentional. It’s a vistually stunning feast, with a cast of characters that feel authentic, and truly feel like they are representing his family. I can understand why this isn’t a film for everyone, but I certainly found myself hypnotized by this film. The Hand of God has been one of my most anticipated films of the year, and is certainly worth the watch.

The Hand of God
