i dont think ive ever seen this chaotic start to a movie - jesus christ the first 15 minutes were sensory overload & i LOVED every second of it.

âLooks like we just woke up the dead.â - Opening gave me covid flash backs. - Hard and fast start. - Zombies sound and look good. - laughed out loud with the doctor guy slipping over. - Starts to fall off towards the end. - Still a solid zombie flick, enjoyed how they were not slow and dumb and worked well in groups.

That's not stupidity or weakness, that's just human nature.â ââââââ ⢠ŕ¨âĄŕ§ ⢠ââââââ This was a solid film with a terrible ending that ruined it. I haven't played the game and knew nothing about the story going into it, so I was surprised to see that a camouflage/vaccine was developed, since we usually don't get to see this in zombie films. I was invested right up until the end, which was so anticlimactic it almost made the rest of the film not worth watching. Acting was good; Brad Pitt was great, as were the soldiers and researchers. To be honest I found Karin and the daughters slightly annoying, and there wasn't really enough from Tommy to know much about his actor's performance. The visual effects were really good; there were some scenes where the zombies looked a bit dodgy, but as a whole worked well. Of course, the scene with the zombies breaching the walls was epic. All in all, I'm glad I saw it once but I don't know if I would watch it again.
